Patricia Fox stood frozen, her eyes wide as she processed the moment. “Wow, this is so awkward!” she exclaimed, a nervous laugh escaping her lips. She glanced around, as if the walls could somehow provide her an escape from the situation. “Can we just pretend this didn’t happen?” she asked, her voice tinged with a mix of humor and desperation.

She rubbed the back of her neck, trying to ease the tension that had suddenly enveloped the room. “I mean, really, who thought this would be a good idea?” Patricia said, shaking her head in disbelief. She could feel her cheeks burning, the embarrassment of the moment weighing heavily on her. “Let’s just sweep this under the rug and move on, okay? No harm, no foul, right?” She offered a tentative smile, hoping to lighten the mood and shift the focus away from the awkwardness that hung in the air.
